Imagine...

Experiencing more joy and less overwhelm with a newborn.

Feeling confident in your role as a mother.

Knowing your concerns are heard and validated.

Never feeling like you're alone in this...

Imagine...

Being able take a nap or sleep through the night.

Waking up feeling refreshed (even with a newborn).

A clean home and a fresh meal on the table...

All while feeling safe in the comfort of your own home.

Imagine...

Being able to take time for some guilt-free self-care. The ability to take a shower, get your hair done, or even go to the store - all while knowing your new baby is safe and being cared for in the arms of a trained doula.

What all can I help with?

I'm so glad you asked!

Non-judgmental, unbiased support:

After arriving home with your new baby, you may have a lot of questions. Although I do not provide medical advice, I can  provide you with the appropriate resources and evidence-based information.

Bottle and breastfeeding support:

I can prepare and wash bottles, as well as provide you with different tips, tricks, and positions to make your breastfeeding experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Nutrition support

I can help by preparing meals for you, and also help create meal plans that best fit you and your family's needs.

Household tasks

Bringing a new baby home can be very overwhelming for the entire family. I can help take the load off of you and your partner by providing light house cleaning, loading the dishwasher, preparing meals, running errands, nursery organization, and more.

Self-care support

Self-care is important, but often gets put on the back burner with a new little one to care for. I can help care for your baby, and/or older children, while you take some much-needed time for yourself.

You deserve it!

Postpartum mood disorders

I am trained in recognizing the difference between "postpartum blues" and more serious postpartum mental health conditions that may require professional help. If and whe that happens, I will provide you and/or your partner with appropriate information and resources

What can you expect with postpartum care?

1.

Initial visit:

Our care begins with a private session to discuss the type of support you desire most and how we can successfully achieve that. We will discuss your postpartum wishes, develop a plan, and work together to bring it all to life.

2.

Our time together:

During our time together we will discuss your beliefs, fears, concerns, and preferences. I will be available to answer any questions you have.  My goal is for you to feel refreshed, nurtured, and feeling like the best version of yourself - even with a newborn!

Postpartum is hard. You don't have to do it alone.
